Cellar Team Leader (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

An opportunity has become available for a Cellar Team Leader to join us at Matua Marlborough Winery. Reporting to the Cellar Manager, this is an opportunity to apply your skills and experience to an exciting industry.

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring efficient wine production & wine to bottle operations by supervising and coaching Cellar team members to meet the wineries targets and production needs in a manner that complies with all safety policies and other relevant standards.

Other duties will require you to:

• Coordinate and allocate work to meet production plans and cellar notes
• Provide on-the-job training, mentoring and supervision to ensure team members are competent to perform tasks
• Ensure our company safety standards, systems and procedures are adhered to
• Report quality and process improvement initiatives, and much more!

You will demonstrate leadership capability and people management experience in a cellar operational environment.  You will be a strong communicator, and have an understanding of company policies and procedures and excellent problem solving skills.
