Harvest Recruitment Specialist & Winery Administrator

About the Role

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role that plays a crucial part in ensuring a successful vintage season. You'll be leading the end-to-end recruitment process for our harvest team - everything from advertising and interviews to visa and contract coordination. But your role doesn’t stop there! You'll also support the wider winery team with key administrative duties to help keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment (Harvest Focus):

• Liaise with hiring managers to determine seasonal recruitment needs

• Screen CVs, coordinate interviews, and communicate with candidates

• Manage contract generation and visa processing

• Support onboarding including bank/IRD setup, dietary info, and logistics

• Coordinate fun and engaging team activities

 Winery Administration Support:

• Assist with training records and documentation

• Help coordinate Health & Safety initiatives and return-to-work processes

• General admin support to winemaking, viticulture, and cellar operations

• Data entry, form tracking, and assisting with internal systems

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in recruitment, HR coordination, or admin

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks in a busy environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality

• Confidence in using Microsoft Office and modern admin systems

• A positive, team-first attitude

• Full NZ driver’s license

You will be a New Zealand resident or be legally entitled to work in New Zealand on a permanent basis, this role is not suitable for working holiday or sponsorship visas.
