About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an organised, people-focused individual to join our team. This is a junior role and a great entry point into HR, offering variety, business-wide exposure, and the chance to build strong relationships across all teams. You’ll play a key role in supporting our recruitment processes, while also providing general HR administrative support across the business.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday within standard office hours (8:00am – 4:30pm). Some flexibility in hours can be accommodated for the right person. The starting salary will be between $65,000.00 - $70,000.00, which we will negotiate based on your administration experience.
What you’ll be doing
You will provide day-to-day HR administration support across a range of processes, including:
- Primary focus on supporting end-to-end employee lifecycle (recruitment, onboarding, changes, offboarding)
- Prepare employment documents and maintain accurate HR/payroll records
- Use HR systems for recruitment, payroll support, and reporting
- Coordinate training administration and maintaining training records
- Support HR reporting, KPIs, and employee surveys
- Assist with Health & Safety and driving wellbeing initiatives
- Provide general HR admin support including correspondence, inductions, and exit interviews
Skills and experience
- 1-2 years’ administration experience is highly favourable
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint), and the ability to learn HR/Payroll systems quickly
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels of the business
- High level of confidentiality and integrity when handling personal and sensitive employee information
- Strong time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when working with data, contracts, and documentation
- Flexibility – while hours are generally standard, there will be times you will need to adjust your schedule to support the wider team
- Customer-service mindset with a helpful, approachable style when supporting employees and managers
