Foley Wines are proud custodians of the Martinborough Vineyard, Te Kairanga, Grove Mill, Vavasour and Mt Difficulty wineries, and world-recognised brands such as Roaring Meg, Russian Jack, Dashwood, Te Tera and Goldwater.
Grove Mill is a medium sized winery, crushing approximately 3,000 tonnes, and is located in Marlborough’s Waihopai Valley. We are producers of premium, cool climate style wines including, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer.
We have over 200 hectares of grapes in the Marlborough area.
We have an opportunity for a Junior Cellar Hand to join our small team based at our Grove Mill Winery. We offer full training and an opportunity to study towards the NZ Certificate in Cellar Operations.
The successful applicant will need:
- A passion for and a desire to work in the wine industry
- Good work ethics
- Own transport
- Sense of humour
- Mechanical aptitude or an interest in machinery is advantageous
- Full driver’s license or the ability to shortly obtain it
- Ability to work longer hours during vintage
Whilst experience is not a requirement, any relevant work experience will be advantageous. This role would suit someone looking for an entry into the wine industry.
