Seresin Estate is a privately owned company with 100 hectares of vineyard and olive groves in the Wairau and Omaka Valleys in Marlborough. Our company is committed to producing wine and olive oil of the highest quality using organic and biodynamic principles. Established in 1994 by Michael Seresin, our winegrowing has a nod to the old world, while being a true reflection of ourselves and our philosophies.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and practical. They will be an integral part of the winemaking team, working in coordination to ensure the highest quality in all winemaking operations. This position requires a high level of communication, organization and record keeping skills. We are looking for a highly motivated person with an obvious passion for wine and food, great work ethic, with an eye for detail.
Reporting directly to the Winemaker, the successful candidate will be involved in all winemaking processes. Key attributes and skills required include:
- Harvest experience
- Capability to complete day-to-day cellar operations
- A good level of strength and fitness
- A desire to learn and contribute in all winemaking tastings, grading and blending
- A relevant tertiary degree and forklift experience would be favourable
