Spring Creek Vintners Ltd is a New Zealand family-owned business providing premium contract winemaking services in Marlborough. Our 12,000t facility has state-of-the-art equipment, is built to produce super premium wines specialising in Marlborough varietals. We produce premium wine for some of New Zealand’s leading wineries, as well as our own award-winning Rapaura Springs and Summerhouse labels.
We are looking for a Permanent Cellar Hand to join our highly-qualified winery team. This opportunity will allow you to develop your skills further with good training and task diversity under the supervision of our Cellar Supervisor and Cellar Operations Manager.
We are looking for a team member with the following attributes:
- A passion for making wine and the wine industry
- Ability to carry out Cellar Operations, focused on quality wine production
- Motivated and hard working with a can-do and mature attitude
- Excellent organizational skills and an ability to work under pressure and autonomously
You will be required to:
- Ensure Cellar Operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Assist and maintain general winery cleanliness and hygiene
- Have great communication skills
- Have a NZ Driver’s License
- An understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace
The applicant must have completed at least 1 vintage of winery experience; additionally a tertiary qualification in winemaking or cellar operations would be an advantage.
