The Coterie Ltd is a fully-integrated wine company providing a hub for premium, contract organic and non-organic winemaking, whilst producing a range of our own premium wine brands; Zephyr, Massey Dacta, Bob short for Kate and Spoke. We are a small family-orientated team built on authenticity, innovation, collaboration and a 'can do' attitude.
We are now looking for an experienced Production & Logistics Coordinator to maintain a high quality of service and product delivery to our partners and customers.
We are flexible in our approach to this role - it could be a full-time Production & Logistics Co-Ordinator, or alternatively, a part-time split role. Whether you’re a Production expert or a Logistics guru – talk to us!
Core Aspects of the Production Role:
- Working closely with the Winemaking team to plan required bottlings based on market requirements and stock levels
- Good knowledge of legal market requirements relating to the sale of finished goods
- Good understanding of the Wineworks portal - be proficient at entering all aspects of the production process into the portal
- Responsible for the procurement of bottling components – ensuring competitive prices and delivery in a timely fashion
- Build a strong working relationship with all service and dry-goods suppliers
Core Aspects of the Logistics Role:
- Maintain professional working relationships and timely communication with our customers for all order requirements
- Co-ordinate and handle the administration of all export shipments (both organic and non-organic) and domestic sales
- Manage all aspects of the Wine Export Certification process
- Good understanding of the Wineworks portal - be proficient at entering all aspects of the dispatch and logistics process into the portal
- Liaison with freight forwarders to ensure wine is exported as per customers’ requirements
Requirements for the role(s):
- Experience in Production and/or Procurement and/or Logistics
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management skills, within a fluid environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Computer proficiency essential (Vintrace, Wineworks and excel experience preferred)
- Be an enthusiastic member of a small team
- Ability to work in New Zealand
