Help us push the boundaries of New Zealand winemaking!

We are a wholly-owned subsidiary of New Zealand Winegrowers, the national industry body for grape growers and wineries, and provide all of their research.

Our state-of-the-art Research Winery opened in February 2020 on the NMIT campus in Blenheim. The BRI research winery, while operating under commercial standards, is like no other.  Making wine in our facility – which has over 240 individual small-scale wine tanks – is a unique experience and will keep you on your toes. Come join our team, using your skills to push the boundaries of what’s possible in New Zealand winemaking.
