If you are a Wine Researcher with a demonstrated track record of research publications, joining our team will be an opportunity to be involved in education and research in the heart of the largest wine area in NZ.
The NMIT Wine School shares the campus with Plant and Food Research and the Marlborough Wine Research Centre. This role enables you to further your research career in one of the most beautiful parts of the country.
This is a unique position that allows for both your research and teaching passions to flourish. You will be anchoring the Viticulture and Wine research programme with the autonomy to explore your own research interests.
Ideally, the person should have:
- Post graduate qualifications in Viticulture and Oenology
- An industry background
- Experience in Viticulture or Wine research
- Teaching experience is desirable, but not essential
To complement your up-to-date skills and experience, you will be an innovative and engaging communicator - highly confident and capable of facilitating learning in the classroom, online and practice environments.
You will be well supported by the Viticulture and Wine team, and will have an opportunity to share your research, passion, knowledge and skills with both staff and students. The position affords you the opportunity to work flexible hours, and enjoy great holidays.
