Nautilus Estate of Marlborough was established in 1985, a privately owned, medium sized winery with a passion for its world – renowned wines.
We are currently seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to join our team, located at our winery in Marlborough. Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a pivotal role within the company, responsible for sales and marketing activities for Nautilus Estate’s premium wine portfolio, to grow and develop sales, market share and profitability, in line with our brand positioning charter.
The role is responsible for the development, implementation and measurement of sales and marketing plans across global and domestic markets, identifying and growing sales and brand positioning within emerging markets and maintaining strong working relationships with distribution partners and other stakeholders.
Working closely with the winery team, this role will assist in managing stockholding to maximise sales opportunities, oversee all branding and packaging activations while providing leadership and mentoring to the Global Brand Manager and Cellar Door team.
The successful candidate will have proven, demonstrated experience in a similar role, with a genuine passion for the Wine Trade, ideally with an excellent understanding of New Zealand wine producers, in particular the Marlborough region. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision makers, excellent business acumen, comprehension of P&L, balance sheet and budgeting and people management experience.
