The Company has grown into a strong brand both domestically and also on the international stage where they export premium quality wine across the world.
We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician to maintain and develop our winery infrastructure. Reporting to the Operations and Business Improvement Manager, you will be the site lead for the maintenance and repair of our equipment and projects requiring engineering and mechanical trades skills
Specific areas of responsibility will also include:
- Provides leadership and facilitates daily task allocation.
- Building and developing key relationships within the industry.
- Implementation of the preventative maintenance schedule.
- Maintains a spare parts inventory in line with requirements.
- Monitor contractors to ensure health & safety requirements are met.
- Ensures all winery equipment is fit for purpose prior to the start of harvest.
- Works within the R&M budget, reconciles and codes invoices.
In addition, you will also have:
- Trade certificate in a mechanical trade ie boiler maker, fabrication
- 5 years’ experience in a maintenance environment
- An understanding of Microsoft office, AutoCAD and winery operating software.
- A sound knowledge of compliance requirements related to the wine industry.

While needing a high level of “know-how”, drive and initiative you will also have that balance of technical skills combined with a pragmatic approach.
