VinLink Marlborough is a New Zealand owned contract winery in Marlborough with a 23,000 Tonnes capacity. Our winery has been specifically designed and built for Marlborough’s signature grape, Sauvignon Blanc.
These positions are a more senior Cellar Hand role and during vintage the candidates will be additionally responsible for managing cellar staff in their assigned area.
The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out all standard cellar work, following the company’s quality and regulatory procedures, maintaining the winery in excellent readiness and cleanliness and contribute positively towards the team environment.
Working in a small team, these roles encompass all aspects of winery production, from grape receival through to finished wine dispatch.
We are seeking individuals who can demonstrate excellent attention to detail, have a strong work ethic as well as positive attitude. Having excellent written and verbal English skills, combined with a willingness and ability to follow detailed direction, is essential.
A minimum of four vintages as a Cellar Hand and experience managing a team during vintage are required. A qualification in wine science or comparable subject is advantageous as well as experience with floatation and RDV’s.
