Due to the growth and success of Auntsfield Estate, we are now looking for an exceptional full-time Vineyard Manager.
Auntsfield is our family-owned vineyard and winery based in the Southern Valleys of Marlborough. The vineyard is a mix of clay hillsides in a beautiful location. Here we grow Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay for both our own brand and other premium wineries.
Auntsfield focuses on precision viticulture to grow quality fruit with the goal of making New Zealand’s best wines. The inaugural New Zealand Wine Awards ‘Wine of Provenance’ trophy was awarded to Auntsfield and reflects our wine growing philosophy.
The Position
This position is hands-on and encompasses the full range of Vineyard Manager tasks, including overseeing a small team of staff.
You will join a management team focused on quality production, innovation, and environmental kaitiakitanga of the land. At Auntsfield our family culture and social values are at the heart of what we are about – we are looking for a Vineyard Manager who shares these values too.
To be considered, you will have at least 3 years’ experience as a Vineyard Manager. You will be positive, practically-minded, physically fit and a problem solver with a can-do attitude. Good oral and written communication skills are also important to the success of this role.
