We are looking for a Vineyards Quality Manager responsible for the direct management of the Labour field supervisor team (who look after the RSE workers) and Quality assurance team (who make sure the tasks are done to a high standard and keep an eye on our vineyard quality). You will focus on ensuring we meet quality standards and specifications.  The Quality Manager is also directly responsible for engaging, maintain and managing relationships with labour contracting companies.

What does a Vineyards Quality Manager do?

• Runs the hand-picking programme - managing own staff and contractors ensuring the plan is executed efficiently and to specifications.
• Assist in ensuring that all labour operations are carried out with maximum efficiency and speed to a high standard.
• Coordinates contract vineyard labour based on planning strategies in collaboration with the Viticulture Manager - South Island, and the planning team
• Works in collaboration with the Viticulture Manager - South Island and Sites Managers to ensure variable labour needs are met including securing external labour contractors and managing the relationship.
• Works in with the technical team to ensure all yield and disease monitoring data is captured accurately and on time.
