Assist in day-to-day supervision of vineyard operations to ensure they are conducted in a timely, cost effective, safe, product specific manner through application of best practice viticulture. Assist in the co-ordination of contract labour crews where necessary and enable a high performing culture. 

You will be responsible for:

•Participate in developing the weekly operations plan and organise resources in a suitable manner that will lead to efficient implementation of the plan.

•There will be active participation in vineyard operations to ensure all objectives are met.

•Any task/operation occurring in the designated area will be the main responsibility of the area Supervisor, unless otherwise deemed necessary by the management team

•Supervisors are required to manage teams outside their designated area, as deemed necessary by the management team. Field supervision, employee well-being and achievement of production, quality and safety targets will remain the key objective during this period.

•Develop a workplace culture that is consistent with the values of the organisation and demonstrates our supporting behaviours. 

Your practical vineyard experience and extensive practical experience in agricultural operations, combined with good people management will help you lead your team to success.  With excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite, you have a demonstrated ability to lead a team. You're Tertiary Qualified in Viticulture or a closely related field and have industry leading skills in Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment.
