Hillersden Winery is a family-owned winery in Marlborough. We produce sauvignon blanc and a few other varieties, from our own vineyards and a small number of growers. Next year we will process 4000 tonnes (32 000 Hl). This makes us medium-sized on the scale of producers in Marlborough. We are big enough to have the most modern equipment and small enough for all our team to see every stage of production.
We are looking for Cellar Hands to help us turn our grapes into wine during the next vintage period. The core of our team have been working together for several years. To join us you should have some mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with pumps and machinery, but most importantly, you must have an interest in the winemaking process.
All of our team must to be able to work 7 days a week during the harvest period - from mid-March to mid-April. We have eight positions available that range from 5 weeks to 16 weeks duration, from 6 March 2023. A minimum of 30 hours per week is guaranteed.
We offer competitive wages ($28 - $32 per hour depending on experience) and transport to the winery, which is located in the Upper Wairau Valley, 45 km from Blenheim.
