Framingham Wines is seeking a Head Winemaker who will ensure consistent production of its prestigious, high-quality wines. Working closely with the Viticulturist, and leading a team of experts, coordinating all winemaking, laboratory, production and quality control, the Winemaker will build influential relationships and promote the company, whilst ensuring all day-to-day winery and vineyard operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
With some of the oldest Riesling vines in Marlborough, Framingham Wines planted its first Wairau Valley vines back in 1981 and since then has been making award-winning small batch wines. It is an environmentally-sustainable vineyard and a winery with organic Estate viticulture practices.
You will have been a professional Winemaker for at least three years, with a minimum of eight years of experience in the sector and be qualified in oenology. You will be a commercially minded leader with a passion for people and vines.
