Spy Valley Wines Ltd is a successful, family-owned winery based in Marlborough that continues to grow and develop its award-winning wines and overseas markets. An integral part of making these wines is to ensure our winery is maintained and serviced to the highest standard by an experienced mechanical or facilities and Maintenance Manager.
This role reports to the Operations Manager and works closely across all aspects of the business to ensure an active preventative maintenance plan. The Maintenance Manager is also responsible for liaising with external providers and contractors, managing the weekly asset meeting, and ensuring required permits are completed prior to use.
We require an experienced FMCG mechanical or facilities and Maintenance Manager with a mechanical or process engineering qualification. You will also have experience in project management, budgeting, have the ability to think outside the square for problem solving, can remain calm under pressure, analytical with a focus on quality of product and compliance. You must be highly-organised, have exceptional communication skills, be collaborative and possibly love a glass of wine in the evening.
