Craggy Range has an enviable reputation for quality, innovation and positioning in the New Zealand and International wine market. Our ambition is to make world-class wines from a range of specially selected vineyards throughout the country.
We are now seeking an energetic and keen individual to fill a fixed-term Technical Assistant position at our Martinborough vineyards focusing on technical data collection from late October through to the end of harvest (approximately mid-to-late April).
Your duties would primarily involve collecting seasonal vineyard data (pest and disease monitoring, floret, berry and bunch counts), as well as other general vineyard work as required.
Ideally, you will have previous experience or knowledge of vineyard data collection and vine husbandry, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. A NZ driver’s license, along with having your own vehicle is required. Completion of a Quad Bike riding course, or the ability to complete one prior to the start of employment, is also required. Experience with vineyard machinery would also be beneficial.
