Luna Estate seeks the services of an experienced and committed viticultural professional to help us guide further growth and improvement across our vineyards.
Ideally, applicants will already have formal viticultural qualifications or, be in the process of obtaining formal viticultural qualifications. Some years of experience in the industry will be looked upon favourably, particularly machinery operations. However, a positive can-do attitude with the long- term focus of a career in vineyard management, is most important.
Full training will be provided with the opportunity to work alongside very passionate and experienced industry professionals.
Some sole charge responsibilities come with the role. The ability to self-motivate and self-manage are key requirements.
We have a small team in the vineyard and use a vineyard contactor to assist in the multitude of vineyard tasks. A key role of the 2 IC will be to supervise and motivate others. Good interpersonal skills are required. Some Previous experience in a supervisory role could be advantageous.
