Johner Estate Vineyard and Winery is situated in Gladstone, the heart of New Zealand’s Wairarapa Wine Region. We are a boutique, hands-on, family-owned winery. Our philosophy is to nurture both our land and our people, to produce memorable wines that express a complex personality.
The role entails managing the winemaking process from vine to bottle. You will need both theoretical and practical experience in all facets of viniculture and be hands-on throughout.
Requirements
- Theoretical and practical experience in viniculture
- Good computer skills to use and manage systems
- Savvy in social media and marketing to assist with promoting our brand
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to converse in both English and German is a definite advantage
- Experience in managerial roles and ability to oversee staff
- Procedure-driven approach
Employment Details
- Salary: NZD $65,000 – $99,000 depending on experience and qualifications
- Days of work: Monday to Friday, with some weekend work when required
- Hours: 40 hours per week, with flexibility for weekends and outside standard working hours when needed
