Assistant Accountant (Wine Jobs: Management & Administration)

The job role of an assistant accountant typically involves working alongside with our CFO to provide support in various financial tasks. Some of the responsibilities of an assistant accountant may include:

1. Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports
2. Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts
3. Recording and analyzing financial transactions
4. Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
5. Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
6. Assisting with audits and tax compliance
7. Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
8. Payroll processing.

In addition to these tasks, an assistant accountant may also be responsible for assisting with financial analysis, and other ad-hoc financial tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as Xero
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organizational skills
