The Business
Sculptureum is Auckland's latest exciting tourism and events venue and has recently been ranked by Trip Advisor as the “No 1 Best Thing to do in Auckland.”
Renowned Rothko restaurant (Metro 2019 Top 50), Art galleries and Sculpture gardens with a magical array of animals are all set within the stunning Matakana vineyard property.
The Role
We are seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager with a recent proven track record. Ideally you will have a good understanding of wine, hospitality and tourism plus have an energetic and innovative style to bring to the table. You should be a self starter with great communication skills, be computer literate, love to analyse data as well as see the benefits of working collaboratively with a team who are passionate and engaged with the business.
Key responsibilities will be to personally execute the agreed sales and marketing plan and extend the strategy as well as manage our website and social media activity and also continue to grow our relationships.
This is a hands on role requiring an ability to sell wine into the marketplace, have expertise in writing media material as well as design effective advertisements.
If you are highly motivated to succeed and drive growth then this is the job to bring your expertise to, reporting directly to our GM.
Ideally you will have at least 3 years senior sales and marketing experience with solid contacts within the wine/ tourism/ travel industries.
We would prefer for you to be based at Matakana and travel to Auckland 1-2 days a week . But we are also open to employing the right candidate who is Auckland based.
We may assist financially with a relocation package.
Full time permanent role, 40+ hours/week.
