About the role
Working across our Retail Banners – PAK’nSAVE, New World & Four Square – you’ll provide expert knowledge across the Wine Category, working intimately with a range of stakeholders, influencing and engaging and driving sales and performance across the Category.
With a true strategic mind-set, you’ll take on a senior role in the team; determining and achieving strategic goals through effective category planning and forecasting, managing supplier relationships, pricing, promotional activities, range management and product maintenance – with a chance to stamp your mark on key initiatives such as the New World Wine Awards, theme weeks and peak trading periods.
About you
With a commercial mind-set you’ll have a solid retail account management background with an in-depth understanding of FMCG and/or retail. Not afraid to get into the detail you’ll work collaboratively and effectively to plan, organise and operate the category – ensuring we’re hitting financial targets, unlocking growth and using customer insights to innovate.
Keys to your success in the role will also include;

Stacks of experience in FMCG

Strong understanding and/or a real passion for Wine

An analytical way of thinking with and an affinity for the numbers

Methodical approach to managing the administration of a large category
