About the role
Based predominantly at our head office in Napier and from time to time at the Cellar Door in Te Awanga, this role requires someone who has a proven background in book-keeping or office accounting, has great attention to detail, a can-do-attitude, adept at multitasking and a fast learner.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing creditors in Xero and reconciling to supplier statements
- Investigating and resolving customer queries
- Invoicing and management of debtors including collections
- Banking and reconciliations
- Preparation of GST returns
- Experience in payroll would be an advantage
- Customer accounts correspondence
- General office administration
- Continuous process improvements
- Ad hoc analysis and tasks
The role is part-time ( around 30 hours per week), with room to grow and flexibility possible for the right candidate.
About you
You are a quick learner and a self-starter. You have an accurate, methodical approach to your work, and you work well under pressure. You enjoy working closely with a diverse team and interacting with all areas of the business. You love to take ownership of your tasks.
A background in business accounts, debtor management, banking, payroll and invoicing are essential. An ability to pick up new systems and software with ease along with computer literacy and proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel, Xero, Vend and Unleashed would be an added advantage.
