About the Role
We are looking for an experienced permanent Cellar Hand who has had at least 2-3 years’ experience in the industry to work at our Selaks winery in the Hawke’s Bay. A large winery that makes all styles and varieties of wine. An opportunity for an experienced cellar hand to join our passionate and fun team.
Key Responsibilities
· Following all safety procedures, ensuring proper PPE, incident reporting, etc
· Harvest operations, including supervising, crushing and pressing
· Assist with the cellar operations around blending, fining, clarification, preparation and dispatch
About You
· 2-3 years’ experience in a winery, and working harvest is a must
· A reasonable level of fitness, as harvest requires 12-hour shifts, 6 days per week
· A current full driver’s licence, forklift certified preferred
· Practical approach to solving problems and a can-do attitude
