Join the Team at Invivo & Co as a Winery Cellar Hand – fixed-term contract
Invivo & Co is on the lookout for an enthusiastic, hard-working experienced Cellar Hand to join our cellar team in Te Kauwhata for the 2025 post-vintage winemaking season.
This is a fixed-term role, perfect for those wanting hands-on winery where no two days are the same.
About Us
Invivo & Co isn’t your average winery. We're one of New Zealand’s fastest-growing wine brands, exporting to over 20 countries, and collaborating with big personalities like Graham Norton and Sarah Jessica Parker. Based in Te Kauwhata, Waikato, our winery facility has a rich winemaking history dating back to 1902.
About the Role
As a Cellar Hand, you’ll play a key part in the day-to-day operations of the winery. You’ll be working closely with our winemaking and production teams throughout all stages of the winemaking process.
Key responsibilities include:

Operating pumps, presses, filters and other winery equipment

Additions and transfers

Maintaining hygiene standards through regular cleaning and sanitation

General cellar duties and forklift operation (if certified)

Supporting bottling runs and packaging as needed
This is a hands-on, physical role for a physically fit person with the right attitude and fit for our needs.
About You
We’re after motivated team players who are keen to learn and contribute to a small but dynamic team.
Ideally, you’ll bring:

A positive, can-do attitude and good communication skills

Previous winery or vintage experience essential

WHV if from overseas
-
A strong work ethic and ability to perform physically demanding tasks

Flexibility to work extended hours if needed

Forklift licence (bonus, but training can be provided)

Passion for wine and curiosity about the winemaking process
