Snapper Rock Wines LP is a small wine brand with an exciting future. After a difficult 2021, we have re-established ourselves in the export and domestic market. The company is proudly owned by Anna and James Leary and a small number of loyal and passionate New Zealanders who believe in the brand and what we do. We mainly focus on Marlborough wines (Sauvignon Blanc, Sauvignon Rose, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir) and round out our range with a coastal Pinot Gris. The company also has 2 smaller sub brands, imports Australian wine and exports consolidated containers from multiple vineyards to the UK. We have both a presence domestically (New World, Pak n Save and independent liquor stores) and internationally in markets such as the UK, Hong Kong, China, Australia, Canada and Europe.
We are looking for a pro-active, organized administration executive with a strong attention to detail. This is a new role to support the owners with a mixture of domestic order management, marketing, accounting and logistics while they are growing their family, and in a growing and ever changing environment the role will change with the times and the owners capability to take on work. We are looking for someone who is willing to fit in and lend a hand in a role that is very flexible and understanding of family commitments. The role is anticipated to be around 16-20 hours per week, with some days only being 1 hour, some days up to 5 or 6 depending on what needs to be done on the day. Once or twice a week you will need to come in to the office in Northcote to fulfil orders or do stocktake. A car is available in case any driving errands need to be done, a full license is a necessity.
KEY FOCUS AREAS
Accounting & Logistics
· Stock management and monthly stocktake
· Processing domestic orders: Confirming orders, booking couriers, labelling orders and writing invoices
· Accounts Receivable: Chasing overdue accounts with email reminders and calls
· Accounts Payable Input: Inputting bills into Xero and ensuring correct coding
· Xero Reconciliation: Matching invoicing to incoming funds and ensuring that Xero data input is accurate
· Palletized wine movement: Booking palletized freight to move throughout New Zealand for container loading
· Support with export order consolidation and logistics
Marketing
· Working with domestic sales rep to grow domestic sales (Foodstuffs and Farro) with supply of samples, tasting notes and stock levels
· Assist in managing the website and web content (Squarespace – very user friendly!)
· Manage online sales events such as end of vintage, Black Friday, Christmas with specials and an EDM (Mail Chimp)
· Manage image and asset libraries, files and registers relating to marketing activity (barcodes, bottle shots)
· Supporting international markets with any photographs or assets they may need
Social media
· Development and implementation of some social media when necessary to go alongside online sales events
· Day to day monitoring of social channels including facebook messenger with stock queries (very rare)
