Key Account Manager - Foodstuffs North Island (Wine Jobs: Sales & Marketing)

About the Role

Asahi Beverages NZ (ABNZ) continues to go from strength to strength and our beverage range is experiencing a period of huge growth and exciting change.  Reporting to the National Business Manager (Grocery), we have a highly visible role for an experienced Key Account Manager to develop and manage our business-critical Foodstuffs North Island account, achieving agreed results in line with the market and business strategy.

On a day to day basis, you will provide a high level of customer service whilst building strong relationships, execute sales plans and drive further growth of your account base and overall business.

You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Creating & executing account management plans and growing account profitability.
  • Planning, actively seeking, and converting new business leads into serviced accounts.
  • Analyse sales and consumer data and work closely with internal stakeholders to implement informed strategies that ensure the company continues its growth & penetration of the market.
  • Develop category strategic plans across all category segments to deliver improved performance in the areas of sales growth, share of shelf, return on space, and effective range management.
  • Work with Channel Strategy and Activation team to optimise promotional plans, trade investment and return.
  • Working collaboratively with Area Sales Managers to pipeline new business.
  • Collaborate with the demand team to ensure forecast accuracy.

About You

  • Demonstrated sales experience, ideally gained within the FMCG industry.

  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify customer needs and provide solutions.
