Retail Superstars - Frankton, Queenstown or Wanaka (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

What the Role entails

• Look after our customers in a sole-charge position or as a double up on busy days
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked, beautiful looking store
• Engage with customers, ask questions, and drive sales
• Comply with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act and Host Responsibility policies
• Support the store manager with an array of operational tasks and projects, including stock ordering, stocktakes, banking, cash handling, merchandising, and much more!
• Understand the fundamentals of retail, POS and cash handling
• A self-starter capable of working well by yourself on solo shifts and staying motivated
• Passionate and knowledgeable about local wine and beer is an advantage
• Minimum 6 month experience in retail or hospo is a plus but not necessary
• A current Duty Managers Certificate and LCQ is preferred but not necessary to start, however you will need to complete this once starting
