Cellar Door Co-Manager (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Bald Hills Wines at Stoneridge Estate seeks a Co-Manager for our cellar door facility.  Nestled amongst stunning scenery and gardens we provide customers with a unique opportunity to taste Central Otago wines from 2 distinct sub-regions.

A comprehensive knowledge of Central Otago wines and their food pairings are critical as you will be serving a large cross section of sophisticated wine aficionados.

Along with staff supervision you will be responsible for menus, food costing, POS systems and cellar door accounts.  Additional critical tasks include liaising with wine tour companies and local hotels, social media creation and cultivation of new clients to visit the cellar door.

Candidates must have hospitality experience with an emphasis on high end customer experience satisfaction preferably in a winery cellar door.

Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or residents and hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
