VinPro is proudly Central Otago based in Cromwell, where they serve the local wineries to produce, bottle and store top quality wines, season after season. For over 20 years, VinPro have provided growers with a service tailored to their individual needs, from winemaking and bottling through to temperature-controlled warehousing and distribution.
The Manager – Bottling Operations is a key role in the management group and reporting to the Chief Operating Officer will lead and work closely with a bottling team of 15 people. The focus of the role is leading the team to plan and deliver against expected performance goals, manage the plant reliability and deliver to the customer quality requirements, while investing in the learning and development of the team.
Applications are sought from skilled and experienced Managers who have strong production/manufacturing based management backgrounds. While someone with experience in the wine industry would be fantastic we are also keen to talk to other candidates with broader backgrounds gained in the FMCG sector. This role is very much about leading the team, so the ability to lead, motivate and interact effectively with people at all levels, while improving organisational effectiveness, through the development and deployment of solutions that can deliver a high performing culture is a key requirement. Equally the knowledge of quality assurance & safety management systems, especially in a FMCG environment, are also prerequisites.
