Working in conjunction with the General Manager to build and develop the Wet Jacket brand, customer database and trade market share. Maintaining and managing administrative duties associated with these activities and the operation of the Woolshed venue as a tasting room and events space.

DUTIES

  • Retail customer database management
  • Manage Providores (Wine Cub)
  • Primarily responsible for Cellar Door operations and sales ? booking schedule and hosting
  • Responsible for a portion of Trade activity ? geographically defined?
  • Proofread communication information to a high standard.
  • MS Office processing - setting up templates, documenting processes, document production, recording and assessing.
  • Organising staff travel requirements as needed.
  • Organising company and client events as needed.
  • Standard hours will be 5 days/week (Wed ? Sun)

  • An ability to work on tasks alone when needed.?
  • An ability to proof-read communications and reports to a high standard so they are suitable for publication.
  • Strong understanding of Social Media and Web-based promotional activity
  • Understanding of the Wine industry
  • Understanding the Central Otago wine industry is a benefit.
