Lone Star Petone (https://www.lonestar.co.nz/restaurants/lower-north-island/petone/ ) is located in the heart of Lower Hutt 13-15 mins from Wellington. One of the busiest Lonestar in the country catering to a wide variety of guests.
With a restaurant seating up to 180 guests and a busy service catering for up to 300+ covers this is a high energy environment that requires impeccable team work and communication
As such we require a strong and capable Bar manager who will report directly through to the Restaurant Manager. You will have full control over the bar and have a team of 3 staff working with you.
Typically shift will start at 3 or 4pm pm and go through to close. No splits and you will get 2 days off in a row.
You will need to have a current Duty Managers license or have had it in the past. Experience in a hotel or restaurant environment is essential. Experience with events and functions is also required as a considerable amount of revenue is derived from this. Experience with ordering and staff management is required.
You will need to have an attitude that shows you are willing to learn and develop. This role would suit someone who is willing to progress their career.
This is a full time and permanent role and visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate. In this role a generous wage or salary is open is available to the right person depending on experience
