About the role:
To assist in restaurant operations including setting tables, taking orders, serving, cleaning up, money handling and other related activities. It is expected the Wait Staff will take real ownership of this role to ensure all goals and objectives are achieved and customers’ expectations are surpassed.

Customer Satisfaction
- Commitment to customer service standards
- Anticipate and strive to exceed customers’ expectations relative to service and quality of food and beverage and the atmosphere created
Quality Control
- Table service, order taking and entry into the system
- Stay updated on current menu choices, specialities and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen is running out of any item
- Wine handling and pouring
- Commitment to developing wine, spirit and food knowledge
- Preparing tables, and restocking items
- Ensure the establishment is clean and tidy at all times
Communication
- Ensure you have regular communication with colleagues and management
Menu Knowledge
- Complete understanding of both food and beverage lists.
- Knowledge of ingredients of menu items and different options for dietary requirements.
- Ability to up-sell correct items and recommend items that complete the guest’s experience
About you:
- Some experience in busy venue desired but not essential as all training will be provided
- Excellent verbal communication skill
- Must work well in a team
- Organised
- Punctual and reliable
- Customer service focused
- Friendly, energetic and hard-working attitude
- Willing to learn
