We are looking to recruit a full time Restaurant and Bar Manager at our world renowned property located 40 minutes from Queenstown.
Blanket Bay is a seventeen room luxury lodge that caters to the most discerning clientele. We are proud Relais & Chateaux members and take pride in treating our guests and colleagues as family. We strive to be the best in all that we do and are passionate about creating world class experiences.
The ideal candidate will:
Have management experience in a similar style property
Have extensive food, wine and spirits knowledge, Any qualifications in wine or hospitality is an advantage. Ideally WSET, CMS, or wine studies from other institutions.
Sales and excellent customer service skills.
Ability to recruit, train and motivate team members.
The role involves all aspects of restaurant and bar management including, wine lists, cellar upkeep, stock takes and administration.
This is a full time, permanent position and we are looking for a person who is able to commit long term. The minimum rate of pay is $35 per hour and the maximum is $40 per hour.
All leave entitlements are as per New Zealand legislation.
