We are in the lookout for a Sommelier to join our Food and Beverage team at Blanket Bay.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least three years experience as a Somme.
- Hold relevant qualifications such as NZQF Level 2 or 3. Ideally WSET, CMS, or wine studies from other institutions.
- Spirits and Bar work knowledge.
- Sales and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to train and motivate team members.
- The role involves restaurant duties in a luxury lodge environment, cellar upkeeping, assisting Supervisors and the Manager in all aspects of food and beverage.

This is a full time, permanent position with a minimum of thirty hours per week. The minimum rate of pay is $29 per hour and the maximum is $34 per hour. The is a rostered position and shifts will fall on all days of the week and during the evenings.
All leave entitlements are as per New Zealand legislation.
