We are in the lookout for a Sommelier to join our Food and Beverage team at Blanket Bay.
The ideal candidate will:
Have at least one year experience as a Somme.
Hold relevant qualifications such as NZQF Level 2 or 3. Ideally WSET, CMS, or wine studies from other institutions.
Spirits and Bar work knowledge.
Sales and excellent customer service skills.
Ability to train and motivate team members.
The role involves restaurant duties in a luxury lodge environment, cellar upkeeping, assisting Supervisors and the Manager in all aspects of food and beverage.

This is a full time, permanent position with a minimum of thirty hours per week. The minimum rate of pay is $29 per hour and the maximum is $34 per hour. The is a rostered position and shifts will fall on all days of the week and during the evenings.
All leave entitlements are as per New Zealand legislation.
