We are looking for a full-time Cellar Hand and a fixed-term Cellar Hand (6 months) to join our dedicated winery team. Watch the video below and find out what your work would look like.

In 1990, Allan and his wife Catherine founded Allan Scott Family Winemakers, one of the region’s first independent wineries. Just as the name promises, it has always been a family affair, and now it has evolved into a true family calling.

Full-time Cellar Hand
You will:
- Be trained in all aspects of the winemaking process.
- Operate all types of winery equipment, from harvest through to bottling. Good mechanical aptitude and the ability to multi-task are essential.
- Have strong communication skills and be able to work efficiently in a team, as well as independently.
- Be required to work additional hours over the vintage period.
- Train incoming vintage staff and supervise shifts.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a winery is preferred but not required.
- Supervisor experience and/or lab experience would be an advantage, and a forklift license is preferred but not essential.
- Willingness to work hard, learn, and share ideas.

Fixed-term Cellar Hand (6-month contract with the possibility of extension to Vintage 2025)
You will:
- Be trained in all aspects of the winemaking process.
- Operate all types of winery equipment.
- Have strong communication skills and be able to work efficiently in a team, as well as independently.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1 vintage experience working in a winery is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of winemaking principles and cellar operations is advantageous.
- Willingness to work hard, learn, and share ideas.
