Bar Manager (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

We are looking for an experienced Bar Manager with proven skills and a recipe book of on trend ideas to offer great drinks and exceptional service to our guests. 

The skills you will have: 
Ability to autonomously manage bar operations with experience of at least 2 years in a similar position 
Able to guide and grow your own team and teach how to provide fantastic guest experiences 
Competent in developing bar programme’s that produce high specification results 
Have an awareness of local, national and international trends influencing the industry 
Have great customer relations skills and provide a warm and welcoming environment 

What is desirable: 
International experience in fast paced dining operations with high standards 
Broad knowledge of beverage products including classic and modern cocktails 
Knowledge of food and beverage pairing 
Hold LCQ certificate and a current Manager's Certificate. 

Your responsibilities: 

Development of seasonal menus working closely with the restaurant manager and chef 
Manage and maintain all bar and beverage operations 
Manage costing 
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers 
Order and manage storage of all beverage products 
Train and develop team members to a high standard of beverage service 
Manage compliance of health & safety 
Uphold sale and supply of Alcohol regulations in accordance with New Zealand Laws
