The Regent Room Restaurant, Wine & Cocktail Bar offers guests a range of contemporary New Zealand cuisine from an extensive menu, including sharing plates and tapas and tempting desserts and cheeses.
We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced person to fill the full time position of Host.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following attributes:
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in a similar position and in a fine dining establishment
- Silver service experience
- Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) and General Manager’s Certificate essential
- A passion for food and working with a quality product
- Excellent knowledge of local and international wines and beverages
- Cocktail making experience
- A commitment to providing and maintaining impeccable standards of guest service
- High motivation and energy levels
- A pride in their personal grooming
Applicants must have a good command of English and be legally entitled to work in New Zealand. You must be either a New Zealand Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a current and open work visa with at least 12 months until expiry.Sponsorship will not be offered for this position.
