DUTY MANAGER

The right applicant will need to possess the following attributes: -

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in hospitality with the highest standards of customer service
• Hold a current Duty Manager’s Licence (Duty Manager role)
• Proven ability in all aspects of bar management (Bar Person)
• Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of Craft Beer, Wines, Spirits & Cocktails
• Flexibility, willing to assist in all aspects of Front of House service at any level
• Be physically fit as there is an amount of heavy lifting
• Demonstrate good management & compliance with all aspects of our Alcohol licence
• Make the ‘right’ call regarding refusal of service, legal drinking age, ID & Vaccination Certificate checks.
• Be a proven team player
• Able to produce consistent quality product without delays especially at high volume times
• Have an eye for detail and ooze creativity and innovation
• Ability to multitask
• 100% reliability and honesty
• Conversant in all aspects of Health and Safety in a busy restaurant/bar environment
• A personal desire to learn, grow and achieve to keep ‘The Phoenix’ at the top of its game
• Able to turn errors into learning experiences and be ‘PC’ at all times, even when under pressure
• As these positions are long term, applicants MUST have NZ residency and a good command of the English language. Do not apply unless you have residency!
