The opportunity
Delegat has an exciting opportunity to be part of our global wine industry success story. We are seeking a talented Company Accountant to join our Finance team based at our Corporate Office in the Viaduct, Auckland.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller the Company Accountant will be responsible for leading finance activities in our key growth markets; United States and Canada. This role will work closely with the in-market management and administration teams.
About you
You will be a tertiary qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of five years’ experience in either a chartered accounting firm or corporate environment.
- Exposure to large enterprise software and the international marketplace would be advantageous.
- You will have excellent communications skills and the ability to develop collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the globe.
- You will be committed to the continuous improvement of financial processes, procedures and systems.
- Previous experience in completion of monthly management reports and preparation of analysis and commentary
- The ability to complete tax returns and compliance activities along with contributing to annual budget preparation and forecasting
- Previous experience in providing financial analysis, insight, advice and support to business leaders
