Tantalus Estate is seeking a professional wine enthusiast to join our Cellar Door team on Waiheke Island.

This role involve close communication with the Cellar Door Manager and making sure customers receive the highest quality and most professional of service.

This role requires:

  • Excellent customer service with the common goal to exceed guest expectations
  • Personable and professional demeanour with co-workers and guests
  • Knowledge of wines, beers, cocktails, and food
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Ability to capture an audience
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to handle pressure and high-stress situations and maintain a relaxed and positive manner 

Duties include:

  • Greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Providing wine tastings to small and medium size groups
  • Guide wine-focused vineyard and private tours
  • Wine Service & Wine knowledge
