If you've been working in the vineyard or cellar but want a fresh challenge that keeps you close to the vines, our Cellar Door Host position could be your perfect transition. No previous hospitality experience is required – we're looking for candidates with hands-on vineyard or cellar knowledge and a passion for Organic and Regenerative Viticulture.
Key Responsibilities:
Share Your Roots: Utilize your vineyard and cellar experience to provide insightful and authentic wine experiences for our guests.
Warm Welcome: Create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for visitors, making their time at our cellar door memorable.
Wine Talk: Engage with guests, sharing your firsthand knowledge of the winemaking process and our organic practices.
Sales Support: Assist in promoting and selling our wines, wine club memberships, and helping with shippin
Event Enthusiast: Participate in planning and executing cellar door events, adding your unique perspective.
Team Transition: Join a supportive team that appreciates your hands-on expertise and helps you develop new skills in the wine industry.
Passion for Organic: Embrace our commitment to sustainable and organic practices.
Qualifications:
Previous carrier/experience in vineyard or cellar work, while hospitality experience is a plus.
A genuine passion for wine and a desire to share your knowledge with others.
Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with wine enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
A flexible schedule to accommodate weekends and holidays, reflecting the wine industry's rhythm.
An appreciation for organic and sustainable winemaking practices.
