Waitakere Resort & Spa is looking for an experienced hospitality professional to lead our Food & Beverage (F&B) service department as Restaurant Manager. 

Waitakere Resort & Spa is a locally owned boutique hotel in the Waitakere Ranges in West Auckland. The hotel offers 26 accommodation rooms and operates several F&B outlets including 3 conference venues, a la carte restaurant offering breakfast and dinner daily, as well as lunch and high tea service on the weekends. The hotel also has relaxing guest facilities such as outdoor pool, day spa, gym and sauna. 

We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking individual with previous experience in a Restaurant Management role. The successful candidate will have experience delivering excellent customer service, a strong business mind with a desire to set and achieve budget targets for revenue and Beverage Cost of Sales (BCOS). This is a full-time hands-on role managing a small F&B team to deliver an excellent dining experience for our guests. This which involves working closely with the General Manager, Head Chef and F&B team to ensure that the F&B operation runs smoothly. 

The successful applicant will be an experienced hospitality professional with a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Previous experience in a supervisory role in a hotel restaurant environment is an advantage. Flexibility with hours is essential as shifts would be mostly weekends and evenings. We will pay good rates to the successful candidate based on their experience. Must have own transport due to no public transport to the hotel.

• Must be available to work weekends and evenings

• Previous experience in a management role in a hotel restaurant is preferred
• Current GM certificate holder is an advantage

• NZ Resident or work visa holder
