Garage Project Crushed is an urban natural winery that is working to challenge the notion of what fermented grapes can be. About the role
The Crushed Ambassador will help spread this new wine movement within New Zealand, Australia and further afield.
In this full-time, salaried position based our of GP HQ on Marion Street, you will be the first GP Crushed Ambassador for Garage Project and drive this brand.
You will take an active role in all aspects of production and sales of GP Crushed wines, from helping out at vintage, through to selling the wine thereafter.
You work alongside the Relationships and Logistics teams, applying your industry knowledge to open up new channels of distribution and furthering our presence in the market.
You will be working to get GP Crushed into all the right restaurants and bars within New Zealand and Australia, and alongside help stage events and parties to spread the word of these new natural wines.
As the ambassador, you are an educator, a promoter and brand activator - a champion and the face of GP Crushed through knowing and flying the flag for our wine and taking it to new places.
To be successful in this role:
- You will be a strong communicator, sociable and easy to get along with - a natural champion to fly our flag;
- You will be excellent at relationship management & development through demonstrated selling skills;
- You will have extensive experience and intimate knowledge in the wine industry and wine production, with significant interest and experience in natural wine
- You'll have intimate knowledge of wine sales channels
- You may have direct on premise sales and/or hospitality experience.
Drivers licence and the ability to travel across the country and overseas is a must.
