We are advertising an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, enthusiastic and talented Vineyard Foreman at our Te Muna Vineyard in Martinborough.
Based at our established 168 hectare vineyard on Te Muna Road, this role reports directly into our Martinborough Vineyards Manager. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in viticultural management and may be looking for an opportunity to take that next step up. A tertiary qualification in viticulture is preferred along with an understanding of contract labour management, machinery operations, irrigation and frost management and the general operations of a vineyard.
Attributes required for success with this position include:
- Strong discipline in planning and organisational skills
- High level of presentation and communication
- Experience operating general vineyard machinery
- Irrigation knowledge encompassing field work and irrigation scheduling would be desirable.
This hands-on role would suit an individual who enjoys getting involved in multiple facets of a vineyard, demonstrates a high degree of self-motivation and relishes additional responsibility.
